Lemon Butter Cuticle Balm

Image: simple effulgence

Inspired by the lovely Burt’s bee’s product, this is my recipe to make your own version…

1 oz. shea butter

2 oz. sunflower seed oil

1 oz. beeswax

2 small Vitamin E caps

30 drops lemon essential oil

To order these ingredients online…click here.

Put wax, oil and butter into pyrex glass and place in hot water bath. Gently heat until melted. Stir to combine. Remove from heat. Pierce the vitamin E caps and add to oil mixture. Stir. Then add Lemon essential oil.

Pour into glass jar or tin. Place in fridge to harden overnight. This will yield 4 oz. of balm and last you about 6 months. Your cuticles will be lovely.

Enjoy!

Ivy
