A stroll in the rose garden…

Forgive my absence. With family in town and other random summer craziness, I have been truly neglecting my blog.

Okay, so today, I have some images for you from the beautiful Portland Oregon Rose Garden. My mom, dad, Grace and I visited here last week. It was lovely to stroll through the endless flowers, deeply inhaling the sweet perfume of thousands of the city’s prize blossoms…

Grace kept insisting that flower fairies must live here. As she delicately smelled the roses, she would call out to them in a soft whisper. It was too cute. Alas, much to her disappointment (and mine)… none were sighted.

Of course, I had to play around with some of my shots and add some fabulous textures. Such fun…

Have a fantastic Monday, or at least do your best.

xo,

p.s. On a side note, I have a bit of fun news…a little organic massage spa in Vienna contacted me with interest in selling our products in her lovely storefront. I’m a tad excited to say the least. I hope to be sending her samples soon, so I will keep you posted. I would love to just hop on a plane and deliver them myself! I wish…

You’re invited…

I have passion for paper. Beautiful napkins, gift paper, cards and of course invitations!

My parents arrived from Montana today, with my brother following close behind. He is moving out here and I really want to have a “Welcome to Portland” party for him and his fiancee…so an upcoming event has been on my mind. Always seeking inspiration, I was lucky enough to stumble upon this wonderful site.

Check out these wonderful, custom invitations created by Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Co.

Unique, whimsical and so unpretentious…these little works of art really make a statement.

The real magic is always in the details and of course, I love the personalized feel of these.

Check out more of Anna’s amazing work here.

Oh, and don’t forget to send out your thank you cards…

xo,

p.s. You must also visit Anna’s beautiful blog. It’s a delight.’
