and I’m so tempted to get this tote…*sigh*…I’m such a sucker for romance.

Face painting…

Okay, I had to share all these beautiful painted faces from Grace’s b’day party…they are too cute!

Such lovely princesses were in attendance! Of course, the birthday princess decided she didn’t want her face painted! Perhaps, she felt it would have detracted from her tiara…who knows? I thought it best not to argue with her. She seemed to just love watching her friends have fun.

Her pre-school set up the most gorgeous tea room for her. Unfortunately, I forgot my bounce flash so the photos turned out terrible. So sad. Instead of looking at my blurry photos (I have SO much to learn!) let’s take a peek at this gorgeous princess tea party…wow…

Birthday Party

I know I didn’t post yesterday and I’m super late today but I have good reason. Grace is turning five tomorrow (I can hardly believe it) and it’s been a whirlwind of activity! We have family in town, a party to throw…two actually, if you count the family gathering and tonight, her Nana and I decorated and loaded up bags of goodies for all the little girls that will be in attendance at the Princess themed festivities tomorrow. We wrapped up presents and laid out her party dress with a new pair of perfectly shiny, white patent leather shoes. Too cute! I think I’ve done everything on the list…so why do I still feel flustered? oh well. Let’s hope it goes well! I will be sure to take lots of pics to share with you! Okay, off to bed…this princess needs her sleep too!

Melancholy with a side of rain…

Today…it is raining…yeah, I know…shocking! I have really tried to keep my chin up and not complain about the rain but today it just got to me. I felt completely unmotivated. A half finished collage sits on my studio table…photos are left unedited and the laundry is begging to be folded and put away. blah. I can’t be bothered.

So…I thought I would post some pictures of how I feel today…

We are supposed to see some sun this coming week. It will be a welcome change!
