Hello there!
How is everyone? Hope all is well! I’m coming to you today to share some of my student’s work from my Whimsical Portraits & Dreamy Landscapes Mixed Media & Encaustic Workshop!
I’m a bit of a proud Mama when it comes to my students – so I just have to share these with you! I’ve made up these little collages since there is just so much good work coming out of these amazing ladies!

Artists Top Right: Camilla Olsson, Angela Kennedy / Bottom Right: Kathryn Sellers Bunn, Géraldine Deleuze
Many of them have never used Encaustics or Oils but they are diving in, creating gorgeous pieces and expanding their techniques! Love that! It takes guts to try something new!

Artists Top Right:Karen Duvel Campbell, Cindi Craig-Plasters / Bottom Right: Monique van Bekkum, Su Ricketts Gould
What I love even more, is that within our Facebook classroom group they all help each other out, supporting and encouraging one another! It’s really a beautiful thing to witness. The online creative community never ceases to amaze me and I feel so lucky to have these talented women be a part of my workshop.

Artists Top Right:Pamela Rae Reopelle Speight, Debbie Davis / Bottom Right: Géraldine Deleuze, Jane McMahon Lazenby
The other part of this whole experience that just blows me away is how women from all over the world are collectively learning and creating for this class! From Australia to Maylasia to the Netherlands and of course right here in the USA. It’s so damn cool! The internet really has made this world so small!

Artists Top Right: Linda Schwerdt Gorton, Victoria Lutz / Bottom Right: Karen Duvel Campbell, Jennifer Albin

xo,
Every single piece is just gorgeous! So much talent!
Sure inspiring pieces, thanks for sharing.
I highly recommend this class to anyone. My piece is shown above, the railroad tracks, it is my all time favorite piece I have ever made. I could not have done it without the unique lesson taught in this class. Honestly my husband liked it better without the encaustic layers, so if you don’t want to play with encaustics you can still get a lot from the class. I have never seen the unique way taught to paint over a transfer. It has changed my style.
These are so beautiful. I love your creativity inspiration! That’s what we want to do too, but food is our art!
