Art to Adore: Nancy Crawford

Hello friends,

How’s life been treating you? Well, I hope. I’ve been busy busy wrapping up filming for my latest class and planning some very exciting retreats…more info to come! ;)

However, I always try and sneak in time to find inspiring art videos on YouTube and I just have to share these with you! The following videos are done by a very talented encaustic artist who I greatly admire – Nancy Crawford. Her work is simple, yet sophisticated. Refined yet rustic.

I love how she works the wax and her other mixed media materials! You guys know I’m hooked on encaustic wax so when I watched these I’m pretty sure I squealed with delight!

Nancy’s videos are quick and perfect for a speedy dose of inspiration!

Inspiring right?! She has so many great technique videos to really get you fired up! You can check her out on her website too!

Let me know if you try any of these techniques! I would love to hear how it goes!

Have a creative day!

Much love,

I love the Yupo transfer technique. I have a couple of pads of paper that I’ve rarely used because I find it so finicky. Always good to know there are other uses for it!

  2. So inspiring yes, thank you for your share. I will definitely be trying some of these techniques out.
