Hi there friends,

Happy Friday!

I’m so excited to share about this fantastic workshop on Bainbridge Island, WA – March 11- 13, 2016! Come join me! There are only 4 spots left!! If you are not familiar with Crystal‘s gorgeous collages let me show you…

These textural, abstract collages are just dreamy to me. This girl knows composition!!! I love how she creates exquisite balance, contrast and tension! And all those gorgeous vintage element….sigh…

I would love to see you there! I’m so thrilled at the opportunity to be the student instead of the teacher!

Much love,

Your final comment reminded me of an incident. During one of his lectures to a group of writers, a well-known science fiction writer handed out paper and pens and explained a writing exercise he wanted them to try. All started busily scribbling except for one woman. He approached and asked if she was confused about the assignment. She said loudly enough for everyone to hear, “I have published a book! I don’t need to do exercises.” He smiled and walked away. Sitting in front of her, happily engaged in the exercise, was the most famous science fiction writer in the world. Thirty years later, he’s still the most famous science fiction writer in the world. So far as is known, she never published another novel. Do keep the thrill of being the student. :D

I would love to hear from you! What are your thoughts?
