Storyteller’s Art Workshop II

Hello there!

I hope you are all doing well! I’ve been busy wrapping my Spirit Horse workshop! I’m excited to for the classroom to open this week!

Another very exciting bit of news to share – The Storyteller’s Art Workshop is back open for registration! The second session will begin March 14th! This class has been a huge success – with the students in the first group already creating beautiful artwork and inspiring stories!

If you missed the chance to take this class last time, now’s your chance to jump in!

I’ll be sharing a new free project video I just completed this week! So stay tuned!

Paint & Pixels ART to Adore

Good Morning! I hope your week is off to a fabulous start! I’m here to share with you about how delighted and proud Robin and I are of our past Paint & Pixels Students!

In fact, we made a little Art Show video to showcase the amazing talent pouring out of the online classroom and FB group! Take a peek and get your dose of gorgeous art for the day!

Pretty awesome right?! Yes…these were all created on the iPad! Such a powerful creative tool!

We are also so thrilled to announce that due to demand, we have  re- opened up the doors to the Paint & Pixels classroom.

Mobile Art to Adore and countdown to Paint & Pixels!

Hello lovelies!

How is everyone? Things around here are quieter (the kiddos are back in school) but we are busier than ever – much to my delight! I adore being able to work from home and actually do what I LOVE too! So much gratitude!

You guys know I love to share Art with you and today I have a special treat because both Robin and I have curated some amazing Mobile Art for you to admire! (Just a little side note, in case you are unfamiliar – Mobile Art is Art created exclusively on a mobile device including iPhones, Androids and tablets.)

Do you ever use your phone or tablet to create? If not…think about checking it out. Remember…I believe everyone is creative…you don’t have to be an “artist” to create and exploring on your mobile devices is a perfect place to experiment and play with photography, art and expression!

Paint & Pixels Class Starts Soon!

Hello my creative friends,

I hope this email finds you well!

I just wanted to pop in and remind everyone that there are ONLY 2 short weeks till the Paint & Pixels Online Classroom opens!

Robin and I are giddy with anticipation! We can’t wait to share all the power and creative expression that the iPad delivers! You may never create the same way again!

From manipulating your own photography, to digitally painting layered masterpieces, we have covered the gamut! And don’t forget that we will be showing you how to bring in those traditional ART materials too! The marriage of Paint & Pixels is one artistic romance you don’t want to miss! We are pretty sure you are going to fall in love! So many already have!

In fact, due to the overwhelming response to Paint & Pixels we have decided to close registration on September 21st. Exactly one week after class starts. This will allow us to focus on this first group of Paint & Pixels students. We have only a few spots left so if you have been waiting for that perfect day to give yourself this class – now’s the time to act! Remember, as a registered student you will have life-time access to the classroom and all the videos. To learn more and register click the button below…

We also wanted to share with you some of our most recent iPad creations…

These first three were done by Robin. She creates such soft, whimsical beauty while retaining a lovely painterly quality! Love that! I especially adore that last one – Such a tender self-portrait. To see more of Robin’s art please do go visit her gorgeous website!

I was lucky enough to get a large stunning print of this one from Robin for my birthday! She’s going up in the studio in a beautiful frame. She’s even more exquisite in person!

These last three are by moi…and I can’t even express how much fun it was to create these. I just love how free I can be on the iPad with no worry of messing up! So wonderful for exploring your own style and mark making! Gotta love that UNDO button!

MDAC Summit Exhibition 2015

Hi there! How are you guys? Hope all is well with you!

I’m starting my Monday out fully caffeinated and buzzing with excitement – Robin and I both got digital art accepted into The Mobile Digital Art & Creativity Summit in Palo Alto, CA! WOO! This is THE event for iPad and Mobile artists! Some really amazing artists are going to be in this show! I can’t tell you yet…cuz it’s still a bit of a secret but soon I will share some of them with you! ;)

We are so thrilled! Over 1200 entries of digital art were submitted and only 100 pieces were selected to be exhibited! These are our two pieces that were accepted…my crow lady…

We can’t wait to fly to sunny Cali and attend this exciting event in August! What a great honor and really a validating experience now that we are both teaching our own ONLINE DIGITAL ART CLASS – Paint & Pixels! Registration is open and we already have over 130 students from all over the world!!

If you haven’t used your iPad creatively we invite you to check it out! You won’t regret it and it can literally revolutionize your artistic practice!! We promise! The Living Studio with Robin Laws

Hi there! Happy Friday!

Many of you know Jeanne Oliver for her abundant talent and her amazing online community for creatives but have you seen her latest Living Studio series! Such a fantastic addition to her site and a wonderful resource to other artists! The Living Studio free video series shares how other artists expand their creative practice outside of their studios and into their everyday experience!

Today my dear friend, Robin Laws is featured and you must go check it out!

She shares all about how she uses the iPad to not only create gorgeous digital art but how she incorporates it into here artistic practice as a learning and exploratory tool.

Her teaching video shows you how she takes a sketch from her easel, into her iPad to make corrections and changes and then how she applies that new knowledge back to the original sketch! Very cool!! Go take a peek!
